Lisnagry FC AGM will be held on Wednesday, August 25th 2021 @ 7:30PM in the hall at Castleconnell National School. Anyone who would like to attend will be more than welcome.

Under 13s Skills Challenge

Our under 13s took part in a skills challenge as part of their on-going lockdown remote training. Below are the winners being presented with football jerseys by their coaches/parents.

Development Plans for Scanlon Park

After months of work behind the scenes we are finally in a position to share our plans for the development of Scanlon Park.

Scanlon Park is home to Lisnagry Football Club and is situated in the heart of beautiful Castleconnell village. With road and footpath access to such a central location, together with a new 99 year lease, Lisnagry Football Club is now in a great position to press ahead with the development of a multi-sports, community based facility for everyone to enjoy.

The initial designs were produced by well known local Architect, Conor Hourigan of Drake Hourigan Architects. Conor worked with the committee and developed concept drawings that captured the ideas of the committee. This concept was then developed further by our own “in-house” property design specialist, JC Farrell who interrogated the options within the space available and produced a robust design which includes the full wish list of the committee.

Outlined below are the anticipated activities to be completed over the next 5 years:

1. Re-configure the main playing pitch and complete extensive drainage work.

2. Remove unsightly electricity poles, containers & re-level pitch.

3. Complete running/walking track around the perimeter.

4. Build out all weather astro turf playing pitch.

5. Add ball wall facility.

6. Incorporate a multi-purpose basketball surface.

7. Develop new Dressing Rooms and Clubhouse facility. This facility will be invaluable to the many clubs and societies in Castleconnell.
